On reverse: Wreck at Elkview, Penna., June 10, 190?. Special train from New York to Lincoln University met a light engine going north from Oxford, Penna. To Philadelphia. Fireman of special train killed. Engineman William Miller still alive in West Chester, 2-22-1950." According to the Philadelphia Times, this wreck actually occurred June 3, 1902.
