Caption reverse: Located at 311 W. Baltimore Avenue (north side), between Orange and Lemon streets. The building was once a livery stable known as Broadhead's Hall, The stables were on the ground level and a lodge occupied the third floor. After the advent of the automobile it became an auto garage. Built about 1865, it was destroyed by fire in March 1975. Copy of original photo; source not noted
